So, to that end, we like to end each week by providing you with a roundup of some of the best Eyewitness Success stories for the week – times when the good guys won and local businesses were protected from the worst.
Two Men Arrested At Dealership
Date: 04.29.20 Metro Area: Baltimore, MD
Two individuals were observed arriving on the lot in a green sedan. The individuals stopped, exited the vehicle, and began searching through a white SUV on the property. Police were dispatched.
While awaiting police arrival, the individuals entered other vehicles on the property. Police arrived and made contact with one individual. They were able to locate the other individual, as well. The police detained the individuals and took them into custody. The vehicle, the individuals arrived in was towed, as well.
Man Runs Away After Seeing Police
Date: 04.26.20 Metro Area: Dallas, TX
An individual walked onto the property and was seen walking around the building before gaining entry into an unsecured vehicle parked on site; this activity resulted in police dispatch.
As police were arriving, the individual seemed to notice the police in the area and he took off running. Officers noticed him fleeing and took off running after him, pursuing him off lot and off camera view.
Police made contact with a guard from a neighboring site but ended up losing the intruder.
Two Masked Individuals Deflected On Scrap Yard
Date: 04.25.20 Metro Area: Tampa, FL
Two masked individuals walked onto the property and were seen walking between vehicles with a flashlight . The subjects were given an audio warning but did not comply with instructions; as a result, police was dispatched.
While police were en-route, the individuals ended up walking around the gate and left the area.
Soon after, police arrived at the gate and entered the lot on foot. Police were seen searching the premises before departing but didn’t find anyone on site.
